PSEB 10th Class result 2018: 59.47% qualify; Gurpreet Singh from Ludhiana tops with 98%

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has declared Punjab board PSEB 10th Class result 2018. The examination was held from March 12 to March 31, 2018.

PSEB Result 2018: The Punjab School Board (PSEB) has declared Punjab board PSEB 10th Class result 2018. The examination was held from March 12 to March 31, 2018. Like last year, the merit list of the students has been put on the notice board. The online results will be made available tomorrow at the indiaresults.com. Once available online, the students can go to indiaresults.com to check their PSEB 10th Class result 2018.

According to TOI, The pass percentage of this year is 59.47 per cent. As per sources, a total of 3,68,295 students appeared for the Punjab Board Class 10 examination, out of which, 2,19,034 qualified it. Gurpreet Singh from Ludhiana’s Shri Harikrishan Sahib Senior Secondary School has topped with a score of 637 (98%).

How to check PSEB 10th Class result 2018?

  • Go to official website – pseb.ac.in
  • Search for ‘PSEB 10th Results 2018‘either under press note section or Latest News section. Alternatively, you can also click on the RESULTS menu bar on the top. The link redirected to an external link (punjab.indiaresults.com)
  • Fill in your Roll No and other details asked there
  • After submitting the form, the results will be displayed
  • Take a print or save your results digitally for easy access

Last year, the results were first announced offline and a day later it was put on the website. According to reports, about 4.5 lakh students took part in the PSEB Class 10 this year.

On April 24, the board had announced class 12 results. The passing percentage for Class 12 result was 65.97 percent. The girls had outshone the boys. Puja Joshi from Teja Swantantra Senior Secondary School was the topper of class 12. She scored 98 percent marks. As many as 3,00,417 students appeared in the exam this year. Of them, 1,98,199 students passed the board exam.

In 2017, the pass percentage had dropped to 57.50 as compared to 2016. It has to be seen students perform this year. Last year, while Shruti Vohra from Ropar topped the exam with 98.77% marks, Amit Yadav from Ludhiana secured the second rank by scoring 98.62 % and the third rank went to Ludhiana’s Simmi Kumari with 98.31% mark. Last year, nearly 3 lakh students have appeared for the PSEB Class 10 .
