The government-run Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is looking for 539 social security officer, the manager in grade II and superintendent from across the country. ESIC has just begun its ESIC Recruitment 2018 drive. Now, all the candidates who wish to work with ESIC can visit the official website- esic.nic.in and apply for the same.
Employee’s State Insurance is a self-financing social security and health insurance scheme of government. This fund is managed by the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) according to rules and regulations stipulated in the ESI Act 1948. ESIC is an autonomous corporation by a statutory creation under Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
According to the notification, the last date to fill the application form for the vacancies is October 5. The application fee for the same is Rs 500. This is applicable for the general candidates. While applicants belonging to the SC/ ST/ PWD or departmental candidates/ females and ex-servicemen have to pay Rs 250.
There are a total of 539 vacancies. Candidates applying for the posts must hold a graduation degree (in commerce/ law/ management) from a recognised university. They must also possess a working knowledge of computer which includes the ability to use Microsoft Office suites and database.
Candidates must also check the age limit before applying for any of the posts. The aspirant should be minimum 21 years of age and should not exceed 27 years. Relaxation in age will be provided as per the norms. The salary mentioned for the mentioned vacancies will be Rs 44, 900 per month.
ESIC Recruitment 2018 process says that candidates will have to go through an online preliminary and main examination. For prelims, English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude questions will be asked. As for Mains, questions related to Reasoning/ Intelligence, General/ Economy/ Financial/ Insurance Awareness, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude will be asked. Apart from that, a computer skill test and descriptive test will also be taken which would include preparation of two power points slides, typing matter on MS Word with formatting and preparation on table on MS Excel with use of formula.
