Days after conducting Joint Entrance Examination Mains, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce the IIT JEE Main result 2018 today.

Days after conducting , the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the IIT JEE Main result 2018 on Monday. Now, the IIT JEE Main result 2018 is available at the official website – jeemain.nic.in and . JEE Main Results 2018 is also an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced). The candidates who qualify in this exam will be able to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2018.

The 2018 IIT JEE Main examination was held in two mode – computer-based and offline. The Computer-Based Mode (Online) was conducted on April 15 and 16, and the offline paper was conducted on April 8.

Candidates who had appeared for the test can visit the official website of JEE Mains now check their rank. The results for JEE Main will be available on the official website of Joint Entrance Examination at jeemain.nic.in. In addition, same will also be available at cbseresults.nic.in.

According to reports, as many as 10.43 lakh aspirants in 112 cities in and abroad gave the Indian Institute of -Joint Entrance Examination (Main). The offline exam, conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), was held in 104 cities across 1,613 centres across the country and in eight centres in as many countries abroad.
In a release, CBSE has informed that the sixth edition of JEE (Main) 2018 offline exam was held for approximately 10,43,739 candidates registered for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in NITs, IITs, and other centrally funded technical institutes.

As many as 6,46,814 boys, 2,66,745 girls, and three transgenders appeared in these examinations.

CBSE annually conducts the JEE Mains examination for admission to Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology programmes at India’s top technical institutions. The scores of JEE Mains are accepted for admission by the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) among others. It also becomes a qualifying mark for Jee (Advanced).

How to check IIT JEE Main result 2018

  • Go to the official website of JEE mains at jeemain.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in
  • Once you are there, enter the home page of the website click on the ‘JEE mains 2018 Results’ link
  • After that enter your Roll Number and Date of birth
  • Submit the details
  • Your result will be shown. You can save it for future references.
