Virtusa signs MoU with Symbiosis Pune to set-up Centre of Excellence

Technology firm Virtusa Corporation in association with Symbiosis opened a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in latter’s campus. The CoE is set up with an aim to nurture young students who are interested in pursuing a course on .

As part of the association, Virtusa will nominate its subject matter experts to give out -oriented inputs. Additionally, as part of the coursework, students will have the opportunity to work on real-time use cases that will expose them to actual work scenarios. The Virtusa team will mentor and review their work to ensure they are industry-ready by the time they pass out. Students will also be given an opportunity to intern at Virtusa offices along with pre-placement offers.

“This MoU with Virtusa signed for its constituent institute Symbiosis Centre for Information is another landmark association that we are extremely proud of. We look forward to empowering the faculty members and enrich the overall curriculum with this association. The students will not only get an opportunity to be more connected with the industry but will be able to relate conceptual understanding and experiential learning to industry practices,” said Dr. Dhanya Pramod, Director – Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology.
