Technology firm Virtusa Corporation in association with Symbiosis opened a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in latter’s Pune campus. The CoE is set up with an aim to nurture young students who are interested in pursuing a course on Information Security.
As part of the association, Virtusa will nominate its subject matter experts to give out industry-oriented inputs. Additionally, as part of the coursework, students will have the opportunity to work on real-time use cases that will expose them to actual work scenarios. The Virtusa team will mentor and review their work to ensure they are industry-ready by the time they pass out. Students will also be given an opportunity to intern at Virtusa offices along with pre-placement offers.
