DU Admission 2017 online registration started: Here’s how to apply for Delhi University

DU Admission 2017: The Delhi University undergraduate admission session 2017 has started. On Monday, Delhi University (DU) organised an open session for students and parents with the aim to provide information on hassle free admission process.

Earlier, DU has opened the registration window for filling applications for admission to undergraduate courses at different colleges and affiliated institutes. The online admission process has started and it will be opened till June 12. According to DU, the registration for the entrance based courses will start from May 31.

In Delhi University, the admission to various colleges are based either on merit or entrance. Applicants seeking admission to UG merit based programmes/courses need to register on a centralised admission Web Portal.

For the UG entrance test based admission, student will have to apply on a separate portal for which the registration will start from 31st May 2017.

The university will conduct entrance examinations for nine courses including Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis), BA (Hons) Business , BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences, Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd), Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Health Education and Sports: BSc (PE, HE & S), BA (Hons) Multimedia and Mass Communication, BTech ( and Mathematical Innovations) and BA (Hons) Music.

How to apply for DU Admission 2017

  • Go to the official website – du.ac.in
  • Click on “Click Here” beside “Undergraduate (Merit Based) Admissions 2017”
  • Register yourselves after clicking on “New Registration”
  • After logging in, the applicant can start the online registration process by clicking “Apply Now”

The entire registration form is divided into nine tabs (sections/pages) and applicant needs to enter details in each of the sections.

During the registration process, fields namely name, , date of birth, gender and board roll number can’t be changed/modified.

Applicants must apply in sports/ECA category before making payment. Once a payment is made, applicant will not be allowed to apply in these categories.
