Dhaka — Amid the Covid-19 pandemic when people are working from home, the mobile internet speed has deteriorated in Bangladesh. According to the June Speedtest Index, Bangladesh ranks 135th out of 137 countries. Which was 134 at the end of May.
According to Speedtest, mobile users in the country can download at an average speed of 12.48 Mbps and upload at a speed of 7.98 Mbps. Where the download speed in May was 12.53 Mbps.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh has lagged behind in terms of broadband internet speed. In May, Bangladesh’s position in terms of broadband internet speed was 96, which came to 98 in June.
