Law enforcement has come to know about this horrible act behind the TikTok app while investigating the incident of cruelty against a young Bangladeshi girl in India.

DMP’s Tejgaon Zone DC Md Shahidullah said on Friday that the police had recently started an investigation into the sexual abuse of a Bangladeshi girl in India and later if it went viral on social media.

“More than a hundred TikTok users have been identified for spreading obscenity by making obscene videos on various social media.”

He said: “Their activities started with the trafficking of teenagers. Basically, they are shown the temptation to make a model or a star. Which we have noticed from the very beginning. But no action was taken as no complaint was received from the victim.”

Although, now not only the police but also the cybercrime unit of the police are working on this issue. Attempts are being made to arrest all those involved in making pornographic videos in the name of tickling and trafficking in women, he noted.

A young woman who was recently trafficked to India came back to the country after three months. Later, the girl filed a case against 12 people under the Human Trafficking and Prevention Act at Hatirjheel Police Station.

After investigating the allegations of the young woman, the police came to know that first the TikTok group was created and pornographic videos were posted there.

The video targets teenagers who like, comment, or share. They were tempted to increase their popularity by making ticking videos. Besides, the smugglers are also tempted to take jobs in reputed foreign companies including hotels, beauty parlours, and super shops in the neighbouring countries. Later, a young woman is attracted or accustomed to a chaotic life.

Trafficked young women are subjected to various forms of torture, including being forced into sex or prostitution against their will sent to various clients, and detained day after day.

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has received information that more than 500 such women have been trafficked in the operation to arrest the tickers. The RAB got such information after arresting four women traffickers including boss Rafi.

According to the RAB, beautiful young women from simple, needy families are targeted by showing the temptation to become model actresses. The traffickers are then constantly trafficking women to various countries in the Middle East and India, with the temptation of lucrative jobs, with many more involved, including TikTok Hridoy.
