— Bangladesh-based online marketplace Daraz said it has hired three differently-abled persons in different roles in a bid to inspire the inclusion of these people into mainstream society.

They have joined Daraz as “Quality Control Officers” in fulfilment under the Operations department, said the company.

The three skilled and qualified candidates went through a rigorous recruitment process and matched all the job requirements, said a senior executive.

Daraz stated that it hopes to continue its humanitarian works and play its bit for the development of society by providing an opportunity to the differently-abled people under different collaborations in the days to come.

“With a view to creating employment opportunities for these people have some physical disability but do not lack the prerequisite ability and quality to earn their living,” the said a statement.

Daraz has collaborated with Adamya Foundation, which has been working to bring about a positive change in society by uplifting an underprivileged group by including them into the mainstream by providing necessary training and skills.

Under the , Daraz has roped in 3 persons who have all the acumen and calibre necessary to work in a competitive office defying their physical challenges, said the company.
