Daraz has recently signed a strategic partnership agreement with SWAP, the first-ever re-commerce brand of Bangladesh, which will open up a new window for smartphone enthusiasts and tech-savvy people

Dhaka‘s largest online marketplace Daraz has recently signed a strategic partnership agreement with SWAP, the first-ever re-commerce brand of Bangladesh, which will open up a new window for smartphone enthusiasts and -savvy people.

Under this agreement, if any customer sells their old electronic products through the SWAP app or their website, they will get an additional amount of up to BDT 6000 as a voucher along with the price (sale) of the product.

Later, using this voucher, the customer can buy a new phone from Daraz. This offer will remain valid for the customers from April 26 to May 13, 2021.

Daraz’s Managing Director said: “The number of smartphone users is inching up in our country with every passing day. And it made us think about introducing something effective for these users. So, we thought, why not do something to treat them? This new agreement will be an excellent opportunity to sell their old electronic devices and buy a new phone from Daraz at a much lower price than the original one using the voucher received from SWAP. We believe this offer will allow smartphone lovers to buy their preferred smartphones in this Eid.”

“I hope this partnership will help ours as well as Daraz’s customers to afford authentic products more easily and at the same time aid us in building a greener Bangladesh by reducing e-waste and environmental pollution,” said Parvez Hossain, Managing Director and of SWAP.

Syed Mostahidal Hoq, Managing Director, Daraz Bangladesh, and Parvez Hossain, Managing Director and CEO of SWAP and Livewire BD Limited, were present in the virtual signing ceremony to sign the partnership.
