Dhaka — Bangladesh’s speaker of the National Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury said that online education can play an important role in reviving and normalizing the education sector which is highly affected due to pandemics.

In Bangladesh, as in the rest of the world, educational activities have been disrupted by Corona’s adverse response. If the ongoing Covid-19 epidemic is prolonged, innovative solutions will have to be found to move the disrupted education sector forward. In this case, online learning activities can be an alternative option.

The speaker made the remarks while addressing a virtual Global Education Summit titled High-Level Round Table for Parliamentarians on Education Financing, a joint venture between the CPA and the International Parliamentary Network for Education.
