The Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, while praising Huawei’s cooperation in completing 5G tests in the country in 2018, said it was a very big experience for us.
Following this, on the advice of Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed Joy, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Information and Communication Technology, we have completed all the preparations by setting a target of launching 5G within 21 years.
Referring to the Digital Bangladesh Program as a program to be emulated by the world, he said that in the last 12 years, Bangladesh has made a groundbreaking change in the establishment of digital connectivity in the continuity of the Digital Bangladesh program.

People’s demand for internet bandwidth has doubled compared to normal times.
He said the installation of optical fiber network connections in every union of the country is in the final stage. 98% of mobile networks have been brought under the 4G network.
