Hinduja Global Solutions Limited (HGS) has launched a new solution providing end-to-end Goods & Services Tax (GST) compliance services to support the needs of corporate clients and business houses across India, said a statement. HGS is currently supporting its first client for the solution, a major telecom operator in India, from Noida. The company will shortly be starting services from Mumbai and Chennai.

HGS' GST compliance services offering covers activities such as legal validation of all transactions (based on classification, valuation, place of supply, point of supply, applicability of exemption, reverse charge and GST credits), reconciliation between the books and return; and reconciliation for mismatches with creditors and customers, informed HGS.

Company said it aims to be a one-stop tax and technology solutions partner, hence, actively working to increase the scope of F&A services including Tax Shared Services. For GST compliance services, HGS has signed an MoU with D. Arvind (D. Arvind & Associates LLP,) an ex-KPMG Tax Partner, for collaborating on legal validation activities.

“Since GST promotes a One Nation One Market practice, there is a need for organizations to comply with all statutory tax related activities nationally and in each state in line with their scope of operations. Over the years, HGS has developed significant expertise in HRO and F&A services, and supports several top brands globally. We plan to leverage this experience to provide high quality GST compliance services and enable a more efficient tax process for our clients.,” said Srinivas Palakodeti, Chief Financial Officer, HGS.

HGS provides a full suite of business process management (BPM) services from traditional voice contact center services and transformational DigiCX services, back-office services and digital marketing solutions. HGS operates with over 44,800 employees in 69 worldwide locations delivering localized solutions. For the year ended on 31st March 2017, company had revenues of Rs. 3,711 crore (US$ 555 million). HGS is part of the multi-million Hinduja Group.
