Now, book flight ticket on Flipkart via MakeMyTrip

With an aim to leverage the large user base of Flipkart, the online travel booking firm MakeMyTrip has signed a strategic partnership with Banagalore based e-commerce firm.

With an aim to leverage the large user base of Flipkart, the travel booking firm MakeMyTrip has signed a strategic with Bangalore based e- firm. Under this agreement a special button directing towards flight booking via MakeMyTrip will be made available to users in Flipkart app and online website.

MakeMyTrip has multiple brands, including MakeMyTrip, Goibibo and redBus but initially only flight booking is being made available and later on other services like hotels, bus and holidays bookings will be added, said company.

“Flipkart is one of the most exciting companies of our times and we are delighted to partner with them to catalyse the massive online travel opportunity in India. This partnership will help us reach out to an even wider consumer base and further open up the online travel market in a significant way,” stated Deep Kalra, Founder & Group CEO, MakeMyTrip Ltd.
