Akamai sets up its second largest facility in Bengaluru

Akamai has announced the opening of its new facility at Embassy Golf Links which is one of the largest Business Parks in Bengaluru. The approximately 250,000 square foot facility is scheduled to house more than 2000 employees over the next few years.

With all of Akamai’s Business Units and supporting functions present at the facility, the Embassy Golf Links office will also house an Akamai Network Operations Centre, an Akamai Security Operations Command Centre and a Broadcast Operations Command Centre to service customers in the region and across the globe. Fostering a vibrant culture, the Akamai Bangalore office is one of three centers of innovation and excellence maintained by the company and has been the incubation center for some of Akamai’s most ground breaking initiatives.

UIDAI records 2.5 lakh email updates in two days via free Aadhaar App service

UIDAI recorded over 2.5 lakh email updates within two days of launching a free email update service on the Aadhaar App. The service, available until 31 December 2026, removes the need for physical visits to enrolment centres.
