Huawei's HongMeng Kernel has achieved the Evaluation Assurance Level 6 Augmented (EAL6+) certificate under the Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation (CC). The evaluation of the HongMeng Kernel was conducted by SGS Brightsight, a security evaluation lab.

The Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro smartphones will allow users to send short texts via China's global BeiDou satellite network.

Under the ban, Sweden has ordered Huawei to remove already installed equipment by January 1, 2025.

As per estimates, total 2021 revenue is expected to be 634 billion yuan ($99.48 billion), rotating chairman Guo Ping said.
