IT firm MTBC fully repaid its $8 million term loans from Opus Bank

MTBC, a provider of proprietary, cloud-based healthcare solutions and services, today announced that it has fully repaid its $8 million term loans from Opus Bank which had outstanding balances of approximately $7.3 million as of January 1, 2017.

“We’re pleased to have repaid Opus well of the maturity date,” said Bill Korn, MTBC . He continued, “With the term debt repaid, we’ve reduced our debt servicing cost and positioned ourselves to pursue other exciting matters, which we hope to announce as we move forward.”

Additional information regarding MTBC’s repayment of the term debt and amendment with Opus is included in its Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on September 11, 2017, and is incorporated herein by reference.
