This year Board will not held a press conference, instead major highlights of results will be email to media-person. “As there will be no official Press conference. The result highlights will be e-mailed to you thereafter,” said Rama Sharma, PRO, CBSE in a statement.

There has been confusion and speculation over results announcements, after directed CBSE not to scrap the mark moderation policy that had been following since 1992. According to reports, CBSE will announce the results without inflating marks as agreed in its meeting with 31 boards in April, 2017 when they decided to scrap the marks moderation policy.

According to reports, over 10.98 lakh students have appeared for Class XII examination this year. The exams were delayed due to Assembly polls in five states.
