CBSE JEE Main 2017 Results: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) which is a nodal agency to conduct JEE Main Examination has declared the results for paper 2 of the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam (IIT JEE) main 2017. Now the results are available at jeemain.nic.in.

The JEE Main paper 2 exam was conducted on April 2, 2017 for admission to B Arch and B Planning courses offered at engineering colleges except IITs. According to reports, a total of 1,44,086 candidates have appeared for the exam out of which 82,060 were boys and 62025 are girls. In the offline mode, as many as 1,20,574 candidates have appeared. While 69,344 were boys, 51230 are girl candidates.

Here’s how to download CBSE JEE Main 2017 Results

  • Go to jeemain.nic.in.
  • Click on Result Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2017- With Rank.
  • Enter your Roll number and date of birth.
  • After submitting the details, the CBSE JEE Main 2017 Results will be displayed.
  • Get a print and save your results digitally for future reference.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development, has notified following two changes in the JEE pattern for 2017. There will be no weightage for the 12th class marks in calculating the ranks in the JEE (Main) examination,

For the candidates to qualify for the admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose are based on the JEE (Advanced)/JEE(Main) ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.

The States of , Haryana, Uttrakhand, Nagaland, Odisha & some other institutions have joined JEE (Main) system, however, their admission criteria will be notified by the concerned authorities.
