– Electric vehicle maker Ultraviolette on Tuesday launched the X47 Crossover electric bike in India, priced at Rs. 2.74 lakh ex-showroom Bengaluru. The company said the first 1,000 buyers will be eligible for a special introductory price of Rs. 2.49 lakh.

Bookings for the have opened from today, with deliveries scheduled to begin in October 2025. The launch positions the X47 Crossover as a premium electric adventure touring motorcycle, blending features of a street naked bike with an adventure touring platform.

Design and Colour Options of Ultraviolette X47 Crossover

The X47 Crossover features a distinctive design with a beak-style front fender, a sculpted fuel tank, a raked tail section, and a cast aluminium sub-frame. The motorcycle is available in three standard colours, Laser Red, Airstrike White, and Shadow Black.

Ultraviolette has also introduced a special Desert Wing edition, which comes equipped with a rear luggage rack, saddle stays, and soft and hard panniers, making it suitable for long-distance touring. The overall design emphasizes a balance between sporty aesthetics and functional practicality, appealing to riders looking for both performance and versatility.

Advanced Safety and Technology Features

A key highlight of the Ultraviolette X47 Crossover is the UV Hypersense radar technology, which supports blind spot detection, lane change assist, overtake alert, and rear collision warning. The bike also comes with dual integrated cameras that can function as dash-cams, and an optional dual display setup provides real-time front and rear camera feeds while riding.

In addition, the motorcycle includes three levels of traction control, nine levels of regenerative braking, switchable dual- ABS, and a full-colour TFT display. These features are designed to improve rider safety and provide a connected and informed riding experience.

Performance and Battery Options

The Ultraviolette X47 Crossover electric bike is powered by an electric motor delivering 40bhp and a peak torque of 100Nm. It can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 2.7 seconds and from 0-100 km/h in 8.1 seconds, with a top speed of 145 km/h.

Ultraviolette offers two battery options for the bike: a 7.1 kWh pack that delivers an IDC range of 211 km on a single charge, and a 10.3 kWh pack providing up to 323 km per charge. Both battery options come with an integrated charger, allowing convenient home and workplace charging for urban and touring riders.

Bookings and Availability in India

Bookings for the Ultraviolette X47 Crossover have opened across India through the company’s official website and authorised dealerships. Deliveries are scheduled to commence from October 2025.

The introductory offer for the first 1,000 customers is aimed at encouraging early adoption of premium electric motorcycles in India. The availability of multiple battery options and colour variants is expected to appeal to a wide range of riders seeking both performance and comfort.

The launch of the X47 Crossover comes at a time when India’s electric motorcycle market is expanding rapidly, driven by rising demand for sustainable and technologically advanced mobility solutions.
