Bengaluru-based startup Trupeer has raised $3 million in seed funding to support the development of its AI-powered platform for workplace communication. The round was led by RTP Global, with participation from Salesforce Ventures and over 20 angel investors, including and CTOs from Fortune 500 firms, said a statement.

Trupeer said it provides a tool that enables teams to convert raw screen recordings into product videos, walkthroughs and training materials within seconds. According to the company, the platform automatically adds voiceovers, AI avatars, subtitles and visual highlights, while also offering instant translation in over 50 languages.

The company claimed that more than 10,000 teams globally use Trupeer, ranging from startups to large enterprises, to create content for product marketing, customer success and internal training. It said the platform allows teams to share videos through public links or embedded formats, and that many users are reducing time spent on customer onboarding and internal documentation as a result.

Trupeer was founded by Shivali Goyal and Pritish Gupta, who said they started the company after observing the challenges teams faced in sharing and scaling product knowledge. Goyal previously worked on digital transformation projects at Boston Consulting Group, while Gupta held leadership roles at startups.

According to the founders, creating high-quality video content has typically required either extensive manual editing or investment in video production, both of which they aimed to eliminate with automation.

“Software should be easy to explain. But until now, making good product videos meant spending hours editing or thousands of dollars on production,” said Goyal, who serves as Trupeer’s CEO. “We built Trupeer so anyone can turn a simple recording into a polished video that’s clear, searchable, and ready to scale, without needing any professional video skills.”

Trupeer said its AI system removes filler words, tracks cursor activity and inserts automated camera movements, while also generating supporting documentation, including screenshots and step-by-step summaries. The company positioned this as an alternative to traditional video editing software or basic screen recorders, which it said are not optimised for business workflows.

RTP Global, which led the investment round, said it sees potential in Trupeer’s approach to content automation. “Trupeer is reimagining content creation by turning what was once complex, costly, and manual into a fast, automated, and scalable process,” said Madhur Makkar, Partner at RTP Global. “From onboarding to support and training videos, they’re making high-quality product content accessible in minutes.”

Trupeer’s funding round follows its win at Salesforce’s AI Pitchfield competition, which the company said was a factor in Salesforce Ventures’ decision to invest.

Trupeer said it is developing features that will allow teams to generate videos from text documents and personalise content for different audiences at scale. It also said it is working on integrations with tools already used in corporate environments, such as software and learning platforms.

The company said its long-term goal is to create a system that allows organisations to store and retrieve all internal knowledge through video. According to the founders, this would help teams create, share and access information without relying on written manuals or live training sessions.
