US-based 3D design software company Autodesk has appointed Kamolika Gupta Peres as vice president for its India and SAARC business operations, effective June 2025. In this role, she will oversee the company’s expansion and strengthen customer and partner networks, the company said in a statement.
Peres joins Autodesk from ServiceNow, where she served as group vice president and managing director for India and South Asia for just over a year. According to the company, she will focus on scaling Autodesk’s presence in the region by leveraging India’s growing infrastructure and digital opportunities.
Her responsibilities will include executing strategic initiatives with key stakeholders and boosting investments in public sector projects.
“Her strong expertise in leading large-scale transformations, forging strategic partnerships and delivering customer-centric growth will be instrumental as we accelerate our momentum in India,” said Haresh Khoobchandani, vice president for APAC & Japan at Autodesk.
With a career spanning over 20 years, Peres has held leadership roles in SaaS sales at major technology firms including ServiceNow, Google, SAP and IBM.
“India is entering an era defined by infrastructure growth, digital innovation and a strong push for sustainability. Autodesk is uniquely positioned to partner with governments and enterprises in building this future. I am excited to join Autodesk at such an interesting juncture,” said Peres.
Over the past few years, Autodesk has increased its investment in India, which it sees as a key hub for global innovation in design, engineering and manufacturing.
Industry reports indicate that India’s construction and manufacturing sectors are projected to grow at a rate of 7–9% annually, driven by government-led initiatives. Autodesk’s solutions in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and industrial design are widely used and expected to play a pivotal role in supporting this growth.
In addition, Autodesk’s heightened focus on India aligns with broader trends in digital transformation and sustainable infrastructure. According to a 2024 Nasscom report, the Indian SaaS market is projected to reach $50 billion by 2030, with enterprise demand for cloud-based design tools on a steady rise.
