“Active Backup for Business was showcased as a cornerstone for centralized data protection, simplifying the management of backup activities across diverse IT environments,” Chen explained. He demonstrated the effectiveness of these tools by simulating a ransomware attack and then using Snapshot Replication to quickly restore the data to its original state.

Highlighting the company’s growth, Chen said a 20% increase in market share in the past year, attributed to rising demands from SMBs and large enterprises in India. “Our market growth is further supported by India’s growing status as a data center hub and the government’s increased focus on cybersecurity ,” he added.

Chen said that Synology is gearing up for another year of significant growth in the enterprise sector. “We are developing more innovative solutions and hardware set to launch later this year, which will equip businesses to better manage the evolving data security challenges,” he said.
