Online shopping platform Meesho onboards top techie Debdoot Mukherjee as chief data scientist

Mukherjee will lead the current 30-member strong AI team at Meesho and strengthen it by 3x by the end of the year, the company said.

Online shopping and reselling site, Meesho, has announced to onboard top techie Debdoot Mukherjee as the new company chief data scientist. According to the company, Mukherjee will oversee the company’s efforts to make every pillar of the marketplace smarter and more efficient with the use of AI.

Mukherjee will lead the current 30-member strong AI team at Meesho and strengthen by 3x by the end of the year, the company said. Mukherjee joins the firm with over 14 years of experience in developing large-scale recommender systems. Previously, he held multiple leadership roles at companies like , Hike, and Myntra.
