Bringing new innovations to the fore, the global social messaging platform WhatsApp has introduced the global voice note player to the users of WhatsApp on the Desktop. The new feature is available in desktop beta 2.2204.5 update. This allows users to listen to voice notes even after switching to a different chat.
At present, voice notes on WhatsApp do not offer background player support and stop playing when a user leaves the chat. With the new update, WhatsApp Desktop beta users will be able to play voice notes in the background.
According to the tech major, when a user receives a voice note from one user and switches to chat with another user, the voice note will not stop and it will continue playing.
