Dhaka — The bank accounts of contentious e-commerce companies and e-Orange have been summoned by Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU). Information has also been sought on all types of accounts conducted in the name of Evaly's managing director Mohammad Rassell and chairman Shamima Nasrin.

The BFIU has sought the information yesterday. Earlier, BFIU had frozen Evaly's for a month. The letter said Evaly.com's managing director Mohammad Rassell and chairman Shamima Nasrin would have to send information on all types of accounts.

From 2020, they will be required to send updated transaction details, deposit receipts, or checks of deposits and withdrawals of Tk 50 lakh or more (with walk-in customer's photo ID).

The information of the nominees of these accounts and if there is any account in the name of the nominees, they have also been asked to inform. If they have FDR, loan account, and LC in their name, they have to give information along with all kinds of documents. Account opening form, KYC profile, transaction details, and all related documents should be sent.
