Divya Garg to drive Uber’s  presence in strategic markets as  head of HR for India and South Asia region

Garg takes a keen interest in furthering cutting edge topics like big data, AI, automation and neuroscience within the realm of HR

Taxi-hailing company, Uber has announced to onboard Divya Garg as the new head of for the India and (SA) region operations. According to the company, Garg will be working closely with the India SA leadership team to consolidate Uber’s growing presence in these strategic markets and build a diverse and inclusive work culture.

“Divya has an exceptional track record and deep experience in building an inclusive work culture. Uber’s employees are its most important asset, and Divya will play a critical role in their growth, as well as that of the company. She brings with her a demonstrated ability to foster a culture that values accomplishment and celebrates the employee experience,” Prabhjeet Singh, , Uber India South Asia said in a statement.

Garg was earlier working with Accenture, where she consulted in the talent and organisational consulting practice for many years, before joining the Accenture People team. As per Uber, Garg takes a keen interest in furthering cutting edge topics like big data, AI, automation and neuroscience within the realm of HR.
