Digital Bangladesh: 1700 primary education offices to deploy 100% e-filing system by 2022

Alamgir Muhammad Mansurul Alam, Director General of the Department of Primary Education said that e-filing will continue till 2022 in all cases except court documents and some urgent financial files of the AG (Auditor-General) office.

Dhaka — As many as 1700 primary offices in the country under the Department of Primary Education will have a 100% e-filing system by next year, said a senior government official. Some level of e-filing system has already been started in all these offices.

Alamgir Muhammad Mansurul Alam, Director General of the Department of Primary Education said that e-filing will continue till 2022 in all cases except documents and some urgent files of the AG (Auditor-General) office.

He said e-filing has started in 1,700 offices under the department in period. By 2022, all activities will be fully run in an e-filing system. According to the plan, all the work of all the offices will be completed through an e-filing system within the current year.

The activities of some urgent financial files of the court and AG (Auditor-General) office will be done in hard copy. The hard copy application of the service recipient will be scanned and taken to the e-file. The concerned officer can give his opinion through an e-document.
