Dhaka — The secretary of the health services department said, “The government has given the opportunity to register for the vaccine from the app called ‘Surokkha App‘, so there is no opportunity to use fake vaccines.”
The government will provide telemedicine services to all those who receive the vaccine in the country, said the Secretary of the Department of Health Services. Abdul Mannan.
“Those who have taken the Oxford vaccine for estrogen have not had any major physical problems yet,” he said.
However, the government will provide telemedicine services to all recipients of the vaccine to provide immediate medical care in case of any side effects after vaccination.
The Secretary of the Department of Health Services said this at a meeting on vaccines on Wednesday.
Prime Minister’s Chief Coordinator (SDG Affairs) Juana Aziz said, “Once the vaccine arrives in the country, it will be sent to various hospitals with proper security and the government will keep a close watch on the vaccine to ensure that there are no irregularities.”
Regarding how the vaccine will be given to the people after coming to the country, the secretary of the health services department said that after the vaccine arrives in the country, it is first given to about 500 health workers of 4 Covid Dedicated Hospitals in Dhaka-Kurmitola General Hospital, Magda General Hospital, Kuwait Maitri Hospital, and Dhaka Medical College Hospital. 600 will be given.
Then they will be monitored for 7 days. At the end of 7 days of monitoring, the vaccine will be administered to the people of the country.
Replying to a question on whether there is an opportunity to administer the fake vaccines in the country, the secretary of the health service department said, “There is no opportunity to administer this vaccine without a registered institution through the strict rules of the country’s drug administration department.”
For this, the government has given the opportunity to register for the vaccine from a single government app called ‘Suraksha App’.
As a result, there is no chance of using a fake vaccine.”
During the meeting, the Director-General of the Department of Health informed that in the same way that the Health Bulletin was disseminated by the Department of Health during Covid, regular initiatives are being taken by the Department of Health to disseminate all the information about Covid vaccine to the people.
