Ride-hailing firm Ola has appointed Rakesh Bhardwaj as Global Chief Information Officer. In this role, Bhardwaj will lead strategic direction on process and technology initiatives.
“He will be working closely with businesses and partners, providing strategic direction to Ola’s process and technology initiatives, which will cover the broad spectrum of Information Systems, Tools, Security, IT infrastructure & assets across the group,” said the company.
Bhardwaj will be based out of Bengaluru and will report to the company’s co-founder and CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal.

With an Engineering and MBA degree, Bhardwaj specialises in organisational change management, and he is passionate about leadership, learning and coaching.
