Tech giant Microsoft looks to acquire messaging platform Discord in a over $10 bn deal

Technology giant Corp plans to acquire messaging platform Discord Inc for more than $10 billion, according to Bloomberg , citing people familiar with the matter.

As per the reports messaging platform, Discord has reached out to potential buyers and Microsoft is one of the frontrunners to pick the entire company stake. Meanwhile, reports about Discord going public are also doing rounds and top sources suggest that it is more likely to go public than sell itself.

Earlier, VentureBeat reported that Discord was exploring a sale and it was in final talks with a party.
