With an aim to strengthen its technology function, mPokket, a one-of-its-kind digital lending platform for college students and young professionals, recently appointed Andy Sen as its Chief Technology Officer. Appointing an experienced domain expert like Andy as part of the senior management team shows the company’s ambition to continue to scale its business. As the CTO, Andy will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the technology function, which includes developing, delivering, and scaling the product.
Andy has achieved several milestones in his career spanning over 18 years. A hands-on technology specialist with extensive leadership and international experience (India, USA, and UK), Andy has profitably grown a startup in the past. He is an expert across domains and verticals like system/web architecture, IT strategy/budgeting, financial services, etc. A 2001 IIT Kharagpur graduate, he has previously worked with renowned organizations like Indus Valley Partners as its Associate Director, Edureka as its CTO, and Tesco as the Head of Software Development. He has also worked as an independent consultant briefly, handling accounts like a DRDO technology firm and a courier aggregator, along with overseeing the tech-build and launch of an early-stage home décor startup.
Throughout his professional career, Andy has handled key responsibilities including launching an international office, scaling technology platforms, engaging with CXOs from top hedge funds, delivering hands-on projects, leading multiple engineering teams, and managing accounts and partners, to name a few. Among his professional achievements, he also has two insightful publications to his credit. Because of his rich domain experience, appointing Andy as the CTO is an integral step taken by mPokket at a time when the company is registering robust month-over-month growth steadily becoming a premier digital credit platform for college students and young professionals all over the country.
