Results.vtu.ac.in: VTU BE, B.Tech B.Arch results declared

One of the premier engineering university of Karnataka, Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has declared the for Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch).

Now, VTU BE, B.Tech B.Arch results are available at the official website of the university at results.vtu.ac.in. University has conducted these examination in the month of December 2017 and January 2018.

The Non-Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) groups, results of all the regions are available for Semester I to X of B.Arch along with the results for Belagavi regions for BE and B.Tech Semester I and II and B.E / B.Tech results of 1st & 2nd semester of Kalaburgi and Mysuru region.

In addition, for the CBCS group, the results of B.Arch Semester 1 to 5 (all regions) and B.E / B.Tech Semester 1 and 2 exams for Belagavi region in Karnataka, only are available on the official website.

Steps to check VTU BE, B.Tech B.Arch results

  1. Visit the official website results.vtu.ac.in.
  2. Click on the result that you wish to check. A new window will open.
  3. Select CBCS or Non-CBCS group and select the course and semester from the options provided on the website.
  4. Enter your roll number and click submit.
  5. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Download and take a print out for future purposes.

About Visvesvaraya Technological University

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) also known as Visveswaraiah Technological University is a collegiate public state university. It was established by the of Karnataka. Apart from a few notable exceptions, VTU has authority in the state of Karnataka.

It is a statutory requirement for colleges offering any program in engineering or technology in the state to be affiliated with the university. The university is named after Sir M Visvesvaraya from Karnataka, the only engineer to be awarded a Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award in India. Jnana Sangama, Belagavi is the headquarters of VTU. Additionally, the University has three regional centers in Bangalore, Gulbarga and Mysore.

It is one of the largest universities in India with 212 colleges affiliated to it with an intake capacity of over 467,100 undergraduate students and 12,666 postgraduate students. The university encompasses technical and management fields which offer a total of 30 undergraduate and 71 postgraduate courses. The university has around 1800 PhD candidates.

VTU BE, B.Tech B.Arch results revaluation

The students can request for revaluation if they are unhappy with their marks. University is yet to announce the procedure and fees details for the same. The university has also released the tentative timetable for theory exams of One Time Exit Scheme (BE, B.Tech, B.Arch). According to the shared schedule, the theory exams will begin from 24th March to 9th April 2018 and the practical exam is set to commence from 11th April to 13th April 2018.
