As India pushes for defence modernisation based on digital technology, the moment is ripe to implement the right security measures to ensure that nothing goes wrong, said a senior cybersecurity leader, who added that this required “some form of cohesive, complete ecosystem”
In an exclusive interview with TechObserver.in, Gaurav Dewan, Associate Research Director, Avasant, who moderated a panel discussion on the topic of ‘Reimagining Cyber Security in the age of Cyber Warfare’ stated that with growing focus on integrated platforms and digital, a cohesive and complete ecosystem is needed to thwart any cyber vulnerabilities.
“It was a great exchange of ideas within the defence sector, particularly regarding how the defence sector must upgrade itself in terms of digital technologies and at the same time apply the right security measures to ensure that nothing goes amiss, and yes, all of this requires a sort of cohesive, complete ecosystem to make this possible,” Dewan said.
On the National DefTech Summit, he said: “The experience was great. It was an honour to participate in this event and to be among the esteemed guests from the Ministry of Defence and from professionals from various industries.”
