Hubballi Cluster Venture Fund gets ESDM boost with Rs 300 crores pipeline

The government of Karnataka said that the Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) sector attracted investment interest of Rs 300 crores for the Hubballi Cluster Venture Fund.

The government of Karnataka said that the System Design & Manufacturing () sector attracted investment interest of Rs 300 crores for the Cluster Venture Fund.

“We are proud to announce that Hubballi-Dharwad-Belagavi cluster in the last year has seen a cumulative revenue of Rs 1,400 crores. We have received investment interests of Rs 300 crores in the ESDM sector alone,” said Karnataka’s IT minister C N Ashwath Narayan.

“I am thrilled to see KDEM’s initiative to bring entrepreneurs, industry, academia, and government together, and the momentum for Beyond Bengaluru building up and becoming a reality,” said Karnataka’s IT minister

The announcements were made at Techceleration 2022, a two-day event organised by the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) to bring together industry leaders, policy makers, R&D community members, and representatives from in an effort to push the next wave of development beyond the Bengaluru cluster of HDB, according to a statement.

In addition, as part of the Beyond Bengaluru programme, KDEM will conduct regional shark tanks and Women at Work programmes at cluster marketplaces to create opportunities for start-ups and women-led platforms. The authorities asserted that more than two hundred women attended the Techceleration event.
