Indian AI data solutions company iMerit names Rajsekhar Aikat as new CTO, Product Officer

Aikat brings along over 18 years of experience in automotive, IOT, robotics and telecom sectors.

Indian AI data solutions company, iMerit has announced to onboard Rajsekhar Aikat as its Chief & Product Officer. According to the company, Aikat joins iMerit from , where he was Senior Director of Product Management.

Aikat brings along over 18 years of experience in automotive, IOT, robotics and telecom sectors. Before Qualcomm, he was Director of Product at Brain Corporation, an autonomous mobile robot platform, the company said in a statement.

Radha Basu, Founder and CEO, iMerit, said, “Raj brings rich experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence and robotics. He will lead the technology innovation, strategy and product roadmap as we continue to build long-term strategic relationships with the leading global players in the space.”

At present iMerit employs more than 5,500 full-time data annotation experts in Bhutan, Europe, and the United States. The company has raised $23.5 million in funding till date, from British International Investment, Khosla Impact, Michael and Susan Dell Foundation and Omidyar Network.
