Infra major Tata Projects elevates Vinayak Pai as new Managing Director

Infrastructure major Tata Projects has announced to elevate Vinayak Pai as new company Managing Director, effective July 22. According to the company, Pai has taken over the reins from Vinayak Deshpande will retire after being in the helm of affairs for over 11 years.

Pai has over three decades of experience with leading engineering & EPC companies where he held key positions across various teams working towards Engineering Design, Technology Licensing, Project Management, Business Development, and Operations.

Pai has been part of industries such as , Chemicals, Industrial & Infrastructure, and Natural Resources and has hands-on experience in executing complex projects and simultaneously being a part of the company’s growth story in a highly competitive environment.

In his earlier stints, Pai was Group President at Worley, based out of Hague, Netherlands, and was responsible for their businesses in the EMEA and APAC regions.

Vinayak Pai, Managing Director, Tata Projects, said, “I am fortunate to take up this role at Tata Projects during this phase when infrastructure is the growth engine of the Indian economy. Pai holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the College of Engineering, . He further completed his Masters in Management Studies from Symbiosis, Pune, and an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from IIT Bombay.

Cisco posts record Q4 revenue of $17.3 billion as AI orders surge

Cisco reported record Q4 revenue of $17.3 billion, up 18 per cent year over year, as AI infrastructure orders reached $9.3 billion in fiscal 2026. The networking company expects $7.5 billion in AI-related revenue during fiscal 2027.
