Vivo launches Y-series Y72t smartphones in China

Vivo Y72t comes with a starting price tag of 1,399 yuan (Rs 16,200) and it comes in three colour options -Deep Space Black, Blue Sea, and Star Trail Powder.

Chinese smartphone major has announced to launch its new Y72t, a Y-series smartphone in China. Powered by a MediaTek processor and a dual rear , the new phone runs on Android 11 and has a 6000 mAh battery.

According to the company, the Vivo Y72t comes with a starting price tag of 1,399 yuan (Rs 16,200) and comes in three colour options — Deep Space Black, Blue Sea and Star Trail Powder. The company has not yet revealed the launch and availability of Vivo Y72t.

Vivo Y72t sports a 6.58-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2408 pixel resolution. The display offers 20:9 aspect ratio and 60Hz of refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM. Vivo Y72t comes in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB.

The dual SIM smartphone runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of OriginOS 1.0. The mid-range Vivo smartphone features a dual rear camera with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 sensor.

Front is home to an 8MP selfie shooter with f/1.8 aperture. The camera on the Vivo Y72t also offers multiple camera modes which include portrait mode, live photo, slow motion and time-lapse photography and more.

Vivo Y72t comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and it is backed by a 6000 mAh battery with 18W FalshCharge support.
