BSE and Ebix Singapore Pte Ltd BSE Ebix Insurance Broking has announced the appointment of top Ernst & Young LLP (EY) partner, Sachin Seth as the new CEO and MD.
According to BSE Ebix Insurance Broking, Seth was instrumental in setting up and growing the Digital and Fintech Practice for EY’s Financial Services Division in 2016. Prior to EY, Seth spent more than a decade with IBM Consulting in a similar domain, as an Executive Director.
In his new role, Seth brings along two decades of experience in the areas of providing digital financial services through leadership, driving business transformation initiatives, building cutting edge digital platforms for leading financial services players, and driving Fintech and InsurTech ecosystem in India and overseas markets.
With Seth on board the InsurTech, BSE Ebix looks to expand its distribution network of insurance products through an unrivaled ‘Phygital’ pan India reach. The company plans to depute tens of thousands of PoSPs (Point of Sale Persons) with an omnichannel digital channel.
