He was later rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a police vehicle around 9:30 pm. We have learned that he is undergoing treatment there till the last news.

A case was filed against Rassell and his wife Shamima Nasrin at Gulshan police station on Thursday (September 16th) for embezzlement. A customer of Evaly filed the case in the name of Arif Baker.

The RAB arrested Rassell in the afternoon after the case was filed. Later, they were interrogated at the RAB headquarters.

On Friday (September 17) at 3:30 pm, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Atiqul Islam Evaly's Chief Executive Officer () said: “ Russell and his wife Shamima Nasrin (chairman of the organization) were allowed to be remanded for 3 days.”
