Dhaka: The State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak has said that a group has launched a cyber attack from outside to shut down the security app.
He made the remarks at the signing ceremony of a tripartite agreement to enhance the digital capabilities of the Bangladesh Air Force on Thursday.
The state minister said that a mahal is constantly trying to carry out cyberattacks in the country. The attack was carried out to shut down the security app.
However, our experienced manpower has dealt with this attack well. Noting that it is not possible for a single individual or organization to ensure cybersecurity, he said that this requires a concerted effort.
Meanwhile, a press release said that the Digital Security Agency of the ICT Department and the BGD e-Gov. Cert of the Bangladesh Computer Council will provide necessary training to enhance the digital capabilities of the Bangladesh Air Force.
At the same time, effective information and cooperation will be provided to address the cybersecurity issues of the Air Force.
For this, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Digital Security Agency, BGD e-Gov. SART and the Department of Cyber Warfare and Information Technology of the Bangladesh Air Force.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Director of the Digital Security Agency (Administration and Finance).
