The Leela Palaces, Hotels, and Resorts said it has appointed Gautam Srivastava as vice president — corporate human resources. In this role, Srivastava will lead the human resource management strategy for the luxury hotel chain.
Srivastava is a senior HR industry leader who has worked with different organisations in leadership positions across hospitality, ITeS, banking and insurance sectors. More recently he was heading the talent management, performance and rewards for HDFC ERGO General Insurance as vice president.

An alumnus of Osmania University and Institute of Hotel Management, Srivastava began his career way back in 1995 as a management trainee at ITC Grand Kakatiya Sheraton Hotel, Hyderabad.
In a career spanning over 20 years, Srivastava has worked with companies like Convergys, HSBC, Barclays, Max Life Insurance, ICG Medical and HDFC ERGO General Insurance, among others.
