Dhaka — Many researchers and political analysts around the world are doing research on many people including the architect of modern , Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, and in the coming days they will study the success of Digital Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister .

The State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak expressed this hope while participating in a special webinar titled “Bangladesh Returned with Sheikh Hasina's Hand” to mark the 40th anniversary of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's return home.

In his speech, the state minister said the response to the philosophy of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is exemplary in the world.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given self-employment status to the youth, he said, adding, “She has connected the common people of our village to the internet. He has now provided 11.5 crore internet users and 1.5 lakh youth in the country with technology-based employment. He has introduced today's 6.5 lakh freelancers to today's young generation. Today's young generation has become one of the digital warriors of the people's leader Sheikh Hasina and has transformed Bangladesh from a labor-dependent economy to a talent-dependent economy. ‘

He said, ‘People's Leader Sheikh Hasina established Union Digital Center in 2010 from Charkukri Mukri area of Bhola. Leader of the people Sheikh Hasina said that if there is a boy, there will be a girl as the entrepreneur of that digital center. The world today is following the philosophy that he adopted 10 years ago, the bottom of the approach. This success of the digital Bangladesh of the people's leader Sheikh Hasina has become an exemplary model in the world. ‘

“Today, we have a per capita income of $2,227,” he said. We are on the path to progress in the upper-middle-income country by 2030 by fulfilling the targets of the middle-income country. In 2008 we had less than 500, then 40 % of homes had no electricity.

At that time the number of internet users was 56 lakhs. But the vision of Digital Bangladesh that the leader of the people Sheikh Hasina gave, the vision, the philosophy of revolution, did not stop with only philosophy or vision.

In the last 12 years, on the one hand, he has bridged the gap between town and village, on the other hand, he has taken the Internet to the remote villages, and on the other hand, he has provided self-employment for our youth. ‘

Tofail Ahmed, a member of the Advisory Council of the Bangladesh Awami League, Sheikh Selim, a member of the Presidium, and Md. State Minister for Foreign Affairs was present as negotiators at the event in collaboration with the Center for Research and Information. Shahriar Alam, former student leader, and Ekushey Medal-winning journalist Ajay Dasgupta. The program was conducted by political analyst Subhash Singh Roy.
