Dhaka — With the aim to improve the customer service experience across the country, Chines smartphone maker Vivo plans to double its service center in Bangladesh. Vivo currently has 20 service centers which it wants to expand to 40 in FY 21, said a senior executive.
“Vivo is trying to take after-sales service to a milestone in Bangladesh. So, we are trying our best not to cause any trouble in this service due to coronal lockdown. At the same time, we have taken the initiative to double our service centers,” said Md. Shariful Islam Emon, Deputy Manager, Customer Service Department, Vivo Bangladesh.
He added: “Hopefully, then customers will be able to contact the service center near them more quickly and take the service. If necessary, this service will further enhance Vivo.”
Out of 20 service centers in the country, 3 are in Dhaka and the rest are in Chittagong, Mymensingh, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal, Bogra, Narayanganj, Narsingdi, Sylhet, Comilla, Gazipur, Rajshahi, Savar, Cox's Bazar, Jessore, Patuakhali and Tangail.
The smartphone makers also said that it is working to establish a 24/7 operational courier management service to meet the business continuity challenge emanating from the Covid-19 crisis.
