Bangladesh Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi said, “It is hopeful that our e-commerce has expanded in the centenary of Bangabandhu’s birth. We expected it a few more years later.”

However, due to this epidemic, the expansion and use of e-commerce in the country have come a long way. He added.

The Commerce Minister said the success of the steps taken by e-Cab at different times in the last year has not only taken the e-commerce sector to another height but has also had an impact on the overall economy of the country. We have tried to cooperate in these works from the Ministry of Commerce.

The Commerce Minister expressed his gratitude to the people involved in the e-commerce delivery service for being by the side of the people as a frontline at the risk of their lives.

Speaking as the special guest, the senior secretary said, “We have made it possible for middle-class buyers to sell TCB products such as oil, sugar, pulses, and gram online at affordable prices through e-cabs from today.” TCB has a subsidy on these products. We hope that the companies that are responsible for selling these products will give priority to poor areas and middle-class buyers and ensure that one buyer cannot buy more products. For this, the Ministry of Commerce has fixed the price of the product, delivery charge and purchase limit.

Shami Kaiser, President, e-Cab, said that the Ministry of Commerce has quickly resolved any issues related to Corona. We have worked from e-cab to keep the price of onion within the reach of the people, especially the fear of rising market price of onion last year. The Ministry of Commerce and TCB have given us the opportunity to do this. I hope that once again our authorized institutions will be by the side of the people during this holy month of and Coronation with this non-profit service.

Companies from which customers can buy products: Jachai.com, ACI Logistics Limited’s Dream, One Stop Super Shop, E-Tricatch Technologies (Tangail) Sirajganj), vegetable market, and kg click.
