Railway Board chairman V K Yadav gets one year extension

The government has extended the tenure of chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav for a year. Yadav had taken over as Railway Board chief from Ashwani Lohani, who had retired from the post in December 2018.

The Appointments Committee of the on Tuesday approved the re- of V K Yadav as the Chairman of Railway Board for a period of one year.

Yadav had earlier held the post of General Manager of South Central Railway (SCR).
