Smartphone maker and Keysight Technologies said that they have successfully demonstrated a data connection using a 5G in a leading UK mobile operator’s lab.

The firms informed that the connection was established using Keysight’s 5G network emulation solutions and OnePlus’ flagship 5G smartphone on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform.

This demonstration is likely to help OnePlus in securing partnership with the UK mobile operator as the smartphone maker is looking to make in road with first commercial 5G smartphone release in the United Kingdom later this year.
