OnePlus with Keysight demonstrate 5G smartphone connection

Smartphone maker OnePlus and Keysight Technologies said that they have successfully demonstrated a 5G data connection using a 5G in a leading mobile operator’s lab.

The firms informed that the connection was established using Keysight’s 5G network emulation solutions and OnePlus’ flagship 5G smartphone on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform.

This demonstration is likely to help OnePlus in securing with the UK mobile operator as the smartphone maker is looking to make in road with first commercial 5G smartphone release in the United Kingdom later this year.

OnePlus claimed that its 5G smartphone will deliver superior experiences in areas such as imaging, audio, and . The device will be powered by Qualcomm new mobile platform which supports 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), and extended reality (XR).
