A10 Networks is attending MWC Barcelona 2019 to share the company’s insights and strategy to support service providers’ transition to 5G. The company will discuss insights into 5G cyber security and share how mobile carriers can future-proof and scale their networks for 5G to enable new services for subscribers.
A10 Networks said it has pilot 5G deployments with tier-one carriers worldwide and is working with many others to fortify their existing networks and plan for future 5G initiatives.
The company claimed that it addresses critical 4G and 5G requirements for improved security, reliability and performance, through consolidated carrier firewall solutions at the core and edge of mobile networks. These solutions result in lower latency, high reliability and lower TCO—all of which are paramount to the success of services delivered over 5G networks, yet also provide major benefits in today’s networks, as well.
A10 Networks recently announced five major 5G security design wins in the second half of 2018. The five mobile operators are deploying A10 Networks’ 5G Gi-LAN solution in a variety of form factors, including high-performance appliances, virtualized solutions, and bare-metal servers. All five operators are planning to launch their first commercial 5G services in the first quarter of 2019, said the company.
MWC Barcelona will be taking place from 25 February through 28 February at Fira Gran Via. The event brings together the latest innovations and leading-edge technology from more than 2,400 companies.
