Rooter, the live sports social engagement platform, has appointed Suhail Kapur as Head of Revenues. In his role, Suhail will be responsible for business strategy, sales analysis and account management, as well as identifying new areas of monetization for the platform.
Suhail holds an MBA in Marketing Communications from the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA) and has over 8 years of experience in marketing and sales across domains as diverse as digital content, hospitality, sports, and advertising.
Suhail has worked with adidas India as an Assistant Manager – Sports Marketing. He managed some of the country’s top athletes during his tenure at Adidas India and was also responsible for forming and managing key partnerships, sponsoring events, conceptualizing campaigns, and executing activations to drive brand and business objectives.
Suhail then moved into the world of branded content as the Manager of Branded Projects & Content at OML (Only Much Louder), before joining 101India as the Senior Manager – Brand Solutions & Content, where he drove aggressive business growth in the North and East regions. He has also had a taste of entrepreneurial experience as one of the Co-founders of Double Roti, a cafe.
Rooter has also promoted Ruchika Chawla as Head of Client Servicing. Ruchika comes with 14 years of marketing and advertising experience with brands like Aircel, Fab India and will be now responsible for servicing and nurturing brand & sports partnerships with close monitoring and increasing value of investment by achieving Business KPIs.
