AI, ML focused edtech startup Genius Corner raises Rs 2 crore

Noida-based Edtech startup said it has raised angel funding of Rs 2 crore from Ranbir Singh, Mahesh Mohta and Lakshmikantan Sundereswaran for expansion. Dipak Varshney and Puneet Garg who are from technology background also participated in the round.

Genius Corner, an initiative towards making learning experience personalized for each individual child, envisaged the idea of enabling personalized learning environment in schools through Artificial Intelligence technology. Further the startup plans to expand the programs.

Genius corner was launched in 2014 and the company said its initiative has helped more than 50000 students across country to raise the academic level. Genius Corner is founded by IIT/IIM Alumni, Vishal Khatter ( a Delhi college of Engineering graduate and Masters from IIM Lucknow ) Dheeraj Khatter (Engineer from NIT Kurukshetra) and Samrat Chauhan from IIT Kharagpur.

Vishal Khattar, co-founder of Genius Corner, said,“Funding came at an important time for Genius Corner. This funding is a significant milestone in allowing us to expand the business, strengthen development and create value in the market with new feature.Our focus will always be to assure our students to get the highest quality, along with reliability & accountability.We will be utilising the funding to implement the Machine Learning and grow Genius corner footprints at PAN India level.,” he added.

Dipak Varshney said, “ based personalized learning will bring wonderful benefits to the Students and educational Institute. We need to revolutionise the way our nation approaches education and Genies Corner provides that strongly integrated experience with their core intent being on skill development and learning. I firmly believe that this product is uniquely positioned to make a powerful change in learning outcomes, in India and globally.”
