Microsoft Corporation is rolling out the Microsoft-Ashoka Accelerator, a new social entrepreneur accelerator program in partnership with Ashoka.

Microsoft Surface Go comes in two variants - a 64GB eMMC with 4GB RAM for Rs 38,599 and a 128GB SSD with 8GB RAM for Rs 50,999.

Microsoft said that India now has the third largest concentration of AI for Earth grantees, following the United States and Canada.

Currently US-based firm is working with 29 Indian states, union territories and central government departments. Of these, over 20 states and union territories are using Microsoft cloud services.

In its report – Unlocking the Economic Impact of Digital Transformation in Asia Pacific – American technology giant Microsoft and research firm IDC claimed that there was a dramatic acceleration in the pace of digital transformation across India and Asia Pacific’s economies.

ScaleUp is part of the recently announced Microsoft for Startups initiative, a new program that aims to provide access to technology, go-to-market and community benefits that helps startups grow their customer and revenue base.

Microsoft has partnered with Yes Bank and MobiKwik to enable digital payments services on Microsoft Kaizala in India.

Microsoft is working with as many as 650 partners in India to drive adoption of emerging technology like artificial intelligence, blockchain and deep learning.

With the aim to support experimentation among its employees, Microsoft India has opened Microsoft Garage Centre at its Hyderabad Campus.
